I am happily married to my wife Jenny. I have two grown-up children and two rescue dogs, Travis and Sadie, who keep me nice and busy. My guilty pleasure is metal detecting, I am a proud collector of Roman brooches and Roman and Medieval coins - but a bronze-age axe head and Celtic stater still eludes me.
I balance the health benefits of my daily cycle to work by eating cake when the opportunity arises. When I’m at home I like to spend time reading, watching movies, or relaxing with one of my many stringed instruments – the most unusual of which is a Chinese zhongruan.
If I'm not in the kitchen, I'll most likely be out having a meal somewhere. Besides eating, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I also love the great outdoors - weekends are for hill-walking, coastal walks and visiting as many new places as possible.
Outside of work, you can find me looking after my two children, walking, swimming and going to the cinema. I recently took up running and enjoy training with my daughter. I'd say my greatest achievement is paragliding in Thailand and landing on the beach instead of the sea!
When I’m not at work you’ll find me writing and shooting my own short films and videos, and creating huge Spirograph canvases for Youtube videos. I speak to my grandmother every day, and also work out a lot as I’m a self-confessed fitness addict! I’ve lived in nine different countries in my life, including Iceland, Australia and Germany.
I spend my time outside of work volunteering at a local primary school, to help children improve their reading. I’m also a huge animal lover, and enjoy travelling, socialising, arts and crafts, and going to the theatre.
When I'm not at work, I enjoy all things girly - shopping in town and going out for cocktails with my friends. My greatest achievement would be passing my driving test first time despite suffering from the worst nerves, ever. I hope to own a sausage dog one day - I'm obsessed with them!
I have two very energetic dogs who keep me busy during my spare time, Bertie the labradoodle and George the cockapoo.
I love watching and performing musical theatre, having been in various performance groups as a teenager and at University. I also enjoy fiction, screenwriting – and naturally, reading and watching as much television and film as I can get my eyes on.
I am a self-confessed film and cult TV fangirl, who, when not losing myself in my favourite Middle Earth trilogy (Lord of the Rings), can be found indoor rock climbing or hiking up mountains in Wales and beyond.

I enjoy going on long walks, going to work with my dad and being told I'm a good boy.
